Bing Crosby Music

If there was a true legend that made amazing music in the history of the United States, then there is none greater than Bing Crosby. Harry Lillis Crosby was born on the 3rd of May in 1903. His singing career took off in 1926 and for fifty years till his death he created the most memorable number one hits and played entertaining roles in motion pictures. To this very day Bing Crosby Music is definitely a worldwide favorite.

Bing Crosby Music is the one that could not be rivaled by anybody in the areas of radio ratings, and record sales. Bing Crosby as an actor was also unrivalled when it came to motion picture grosses between 1934 and 1954. Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Perry Como were truly inspired by Crosby s music and inspired them to come out with their own number one hits. Crosby was also voted to be the most admired man on the planet and Bing Crosby Music was an amazing inspiration for the soldiers of the United States who were far from their homes and loved ones during World War II.

The post war music recording industry was very much influenced by Crosby. He was one among the visionaries who invested fifty thousand American dollars in Ampex a company that first came out with the idea and developed the world s first tape recorders that were reel to reel. His radio shows were the first ones to be pre-recorded and all of his commercial recordings were mastered on magnetic tapes. Les Paul, a friend of Crosby and a lover of his music, was the first one to receive the Ampex 200 Model tape recorder, which inspired Paul to come out with his own line of the world s first multi-track recording.

The Los Angeles based United Western Recorders studio was backed by Frank Sinatra and Crosby along with few other people. Just like a motion picture, Bing Crosby Music was edited, rehearsed, retook and time shifted before the actual track was put on tape or even before it was released to the radio. Since such care was taken during the production of Bing Crosby Music, the quality of the recordings was overwhelming and the tracks were actually used for many broadcasts.

Crosby was the first male artist who was awarded the Grammy Award for Global Achievement. He also won the Academy for Best Actor in 1944 for his movie Going My Way. He is also one among those really well achieved celebrities who actually three stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame! And who can forget the hilarious “Road to” movies were Bing and Bob Hope got themselves into one funny jam after another!

Crosby co-wrote many of his songs and also composed his own music. America s all time favorite At Your Command, remained on the coveted #1 ranking for three weeks continuous with the week beginning 8th of August 1931. The other song that was Crosby s own composition was for the number I Don t Stand . He also wrote 15 of his songs including the two mentioned above. The Album Merry Christmas received a Gold Rating while Bing songs and White Christmas received a double Platinum each!
